| 1 held with 72 liquor pouches at Ramban | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 12: A bootlegger was today apprehended by police at Mehar in Ramban along with 72 liquor pouches. He was identified as Pratap Singh, son of Kunj Lal of Kanthi, Ramban. Acting on reports that illegal sale of liquor was going on at Mehar, Anil Magotra, SP Ramban, deputed a police party to nab the culprits, police sources said.
The team succeeded in arresting Pratap alng with 72 illegal liquor pouches. A case under section 48 (A) of Excise Act was registered against him at Ramban police station. |
