| 2 associates of heroine smuggler held | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 12: Police today apprehended two associates of the narco-smuggler who was arrested near Paloura here last night along with 10 kilograms of heroine worth crores.
Ranjeet Kumar, son of Bal Krishan of Khour, was taken into custody by police while he was going on his motorcycle (JK02AU/7639) on Paloura road. Ten kilograms of heroine was allegedly recovered from him. His interrogation led police to the arrest of his two alleged associates -- Akhtar Rasool alias Kaka of Gujjar Nagar and Rakesh Kumar, son of Kartar Chand of Khour, police sources said.
The consignment had been smuggled into Jammu from Pakistan, the sources added. |
