Soz lashes out at BJP | ‘Jammu Kashmir to stay united’ | | early times report Jammu, Feb 12: President Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Profe-ssor Saifuddin Soz lashed out at BJP for its `divisive politics' which according to Soz weakens the unity and integrity of the state and country. "Jammu Kashmir has o stay united come what may", he made clear. He was addressing a public rally at Sangrampur (Marh) in Jammu rural today. Soz said BJP believes in the politics of division which creates hatred amongst people of different faiths and religions and is dangerous for the unity and integrity of the country. He said that India is known for 'unity in diversity' throughout the World, as the people of different faiths live in peace and harmony in this country. "This is the soul of the strength of our nation." Soz said that Congress is the only party which has its presence in all six lac villages in the country because of its firm belief in the principles of secularism and commitment to the service of people. He cautioned the people about the communal and divisive forces in the state. PCC Chief said that Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have to stay together and live in peace. He said that Congress has its strength and is a vibrant force in all three regions of the state and those who want to see Congress emerge stronger have to strengthen it at the grass root level for a better future of the people of the state. Soz said that the demands of the area regarding construction of a Bridge connecting Bhagatpur to Sohanjana, Army School and Women's Craft Center in the area would be taken up on priority basis for fulfillment. He referred to the efforts of Smt. Indu Pawar-MLA and State President Mahila Congress to serve the people of the area and appreciated that large number of people especially women have appreciated her commitment to the service of people and strengthening of Congress party. Earlier, the organisor of the rally Smt. Indu Pawar welcomed Soz and other Senior PCC leaders including ministers and legislators.
