Bhalla lays foundation stone of Link road, lanes and drains worth Rs 37 Lacs

JAMMU, Feb 12: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla today said that State Government has registered land mark achievements for all-round development of the state with the help of central Government. He said the endeavors of the Government remain continue to make the Jammu & Kashmir a model state of the country.
Addressing a gathering at Bandu Rakh, Gangyal, Sanjay Nagar and Digiana in Jammu District on Sunday the Minister said that Government has initiated numerous innovative measures for rejuvenating overall development of the state. He said up gradation of road connectivity, drinking water, health care and education facilities receive focused attention of govt. across the state which has been upgraded successfully with full financial assistance of centre.
The minister said that people have many aspirations from the Govt. and he assured them for providing full assistance for their better living. The Minister inaugurated lanes and drains to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 17 lacs including Sanjay Nagar, and Green Avenue Colony in Digiana.
Earlier Bhalla laid foundation stone of road from Army Gate to Pir Baba at Bandu Rakh to be be constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 Lacs. While addressing the gathering he said road connectivity is vital for socio-economic transformation of a society, adding that a massive road up gradation has been started across the state.
The minister was chief guest in the annual day function of M.V. international school in district Samba where he appreciated the role of teachers to build the future of our students in the by giving them academic knowledge in the field of education. The minister also attended the Maha Shivratri Mahotsav ceremony as Chief Guest which has been organized by the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishaw Vidyala organization at Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
