| Public darbar held in Pangai amid heavy snowfall | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, February 12 : Amid heavy snowfall and tough environmental conditions, MLA Rajouri and Minister of State for Power, CAPD, Forest, Shabir Ahmed Khan held a public darbar in far flung Pangai village of Thanamandi area of Rajouri while the location of this public darbar was several kilometers away from the road.
In this, MoS Khan was also accompanied by District Development Commissioner GA Khwaja, ACD Rajouri, Xen PDD and incharge officials of other department. Locals also showed a lot of enthusiasm in this darbar where hundreds of people gathered and warmly welcomed MoS Shabir and higher government officials between beats of drums. During the process of public darbar, officials and MoS throwed light upon various impacts of schemes and awarded them about these schemes.
They also presented a road map in front of locals to come forward and to avail the benefit of government schemes so as to make these schemes successful on ground level. Later locals of the area apprised the government machinery about various problems faced by the habitants in this far flung areas.
Locals of this area also appreciated this public darbar machinery as they visited the area amid heavy snowfall. |
