early times report Kishtwar, Feb 12: Even after two days of the incident, police have failed to arrest those involved in attack on some labourers engaged by the management of 840 MW Rattle power project to construct an approach road to its site. Five persons, including two cops, were injured when some miscreants had pelted stones on them. Police have registered a case under sections 336, 147, 148, 149 and 427 of RPC against 10 stone pelters who were identified by GVK Ltd and a private contractor whose one machine was damaged allegedly by the accused. The accused were identified as Moham-mad Ashraf, son of Abdul Razak Mattoo, Mohammad Shafi, son of Abul Gani Mattoo, Mehfooz Mattoo, son of Hafiz Mattoo, Mohammad Irfan, son of Zubair Najjar, his brother Mohammad Imran, Raj Kumar, son of Chat Ram, Inder Singh, son of Yash Pal, Mohammad Yaseen, son of Ghulam Haider, his brother Zubair Ahmed and Rajinder Kumar. None of them had been arrested when reports last came in, police sources said. Meanwhile, security agencies were worried over the reports pertaining to the missing of explosive material from the site of the project. They feared that if the explosive material, which was in ready to use condition, fell in the hands of anti-national elements, it could pose a major security threat.
