| Officials criticized for changing Darhal-Chowkian road alignment | | | EARLY TIMES report
Rajouri, Feb 13: Congress leader and Pahari Advisory Board Member Karamat Malik has lambasted the PMGSY Budhal Division officials for changing the alignment of Darhal-Chowkian road to benefit the Departmental Engineer.
Adresssing a press conference in Rajouri Karamat Malik said that in Darhal constituency there is chaos and confusion like situation where MLA Darhal is ignoring the genuine demands of people and giving benefit only to the people who have voted in his favour.
He also alleged that all centrally sponsored schemes are defunct in Darhal and under RGGVY Electric Transformers are installed on the direction of MLA Darhal on pick and choose policy which is clear violation of the norms.
Malik also criticized the functioning of Block Development office Darhal and termed the BDO Darhal as agent of MLA Darhal.
Karamat Malik also criticized the functioning of Pahari Hostel Rajouri and said that in spite of indictment of the Pahari Hostel warden in the inquiry report conducted by Assistant Commissioner Defence in huge embezzlement case no action has been taken against the Hostel warden so far which clearly shows the criminal nexus at higher level.
He also put question mark on the criminal silence of Vice Chairman Pahari Board Mustaq Ahmed Bukhari on this matter which is hampering the overall progress of Pahari Community. |
