Poor performance in government schools throws guillotine on HM, others | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Feb 13: Once again many govt schools have given poor performance and shown bad results in board examinations but this time such schools are facing strict action from concerned authorities. As per sources, in educational zone Koteranka Budhal of Rajouri district, one school has shown zero percent result in recently declared matriculation results of winter zone. This school has been identified as Govt High School Gabar while many of other govt schools of this zone have shown quite a low result. Along with this, as per sources, the overall result of educational zone Koteranka is below 5 % which is a cause of concern. Talking stern action against this poor performance of govt schools, headmaster (HM) of govt high school Gabar has been suspended while increment of several other govt school headmasters who have shown poor performance and whose result is below 30% in the recently declared matriculation result of winter zone been stopped. When Zonal Education Officer Koter anka, Chowdhary Mohd sharif was contacted said that stern action has already been taken against those govt schools of the zone who are not performing well. He also ascertained that along with suspension of one high school headmaster increment of several others have been stopped while they will be dealt more strictly further on. On the other hand, when Chief Education Officer of Rajouri, ML Sharma was contacted, he said that no compromise will be done with those govt schools who are giving poor performance. He also confirmed suspension of one high school headmaster and stopping the increment of several others. CEO also said that higher authorities of education department are strict upon this issue and those responsible for poor performance of govt schools will not be compromised. |
