NC-Cong start washing dirty linen in public

EARLY TIMES REPORT

Jammu, Feb 13: Peerzada episode far from being over has only accentuated the differences in the NC-Cong. Things have soured to such a level that both parties have started leveling allegations and charges against each.
A post pasted at the Omar Alliance page on facebook reads " I offer my opponents a bargain: if they will stop telling lies about us, I will stop telling the truth about them."
It's not clear if the post was pasted by Omar Abdullah himself but it gets credence on the fact that it has been liked by CM's advisor Mubarak Gul and he has shared it on his facebook page.
"That's our Omar Sahib…. 100% correct. God bless you and give you a long life," is the comment posted by Mubarak Gul.
This comment comes a day on the day PHE minister Taj Mohi-ud-din was quoted in a media report as having said " I have proof that NC had pitted leaders against each other. These leaders were given money to tarnish the image of the the Cong minister."
Taj was suggesting to allegations leveled against him by Cong leader Abdul Gani Vakil.
This post on Omar Alliance, liked by advisor to CM, also comes two-day after Peerzada Mohammad Sayed told a national daily that the allegations leveled against him were found baseless in an internal inqury about year back.
"I don't' why there was need for another inquiry and it was presented to the CM also," Peerzada was quoted in the media report.
The face-off between coalition partners comes at a time when Omar Abdullah had just completed his first three-year in office and Cong will raise the voice again for rotational system of CM so that Cong can also assume the chair of CM.
There is feeling in the Cong circles that NC is deliberately trying to destablise and tarnish the image of Cong so that it's claim for CM chair doesn't hold credibility and by these kinds of allegations the public perception will be also against the party.
But by retaining Peerzada as a cabinet minister the Cong has tried to cut CM to the size and has divested him of his further plans but it has only soured the relations between two parties which in all likelihood will enter turbulent water in future.
