| 1 killed, 1 hurt in mobike accident | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 13: A youth was killed, while another sustained severe wounds in a motorcycle accident on the national highway at Samroli in Udhampur this evening.
Police sources said a motorcycle (JK14B/8614) slipped at Samroli at about 7.15 pm as a result of which two youth, who were sitting on it, received critical injuries.
They were shifted to the Udhampur district hospital where one of them was pronounced brought dead, while the condition of the other was stated to be serious.
The dead was identified as Kamal Singh (30), son of Surinder Singh of Udhampur, and the injured as Sunil Atri (25), son of Jagdish Lal Atri of Bilanbowli, Udhampur.
Police had registered a case in this regard.
