| Syed Akhoon calls on CM | | | Jammu |Jan 18
MLA Mr. Mohammad Syed Akhoon called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here and apprised him of the problems and development needs of his constituency.
A deputation from Banihal also called on Chief Minister and presented a memorandum of development related demands of the area. These included provision of more funds for improving civic amenities in municipal area, setting up of a degree college at Banihal and according tehsil status to Ramsoo and creation of rural development block at Khari.
Another deputation from Bhadarwah also called on Mr. Azad and apprised him of their demands.
Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and said that their demands would be looked into.
