Saroori, Peerzada decisions arbitrary: TTDF

Early Times Report

Doda, Feb 14:The members of Tehsil Thathri Development Front in a meeting said that the action of Congress High command & the Chief Minister regarding resignation of J&K Education Minister appears to be arbitrary vis-à-vis an unequal treatment meted out to G.M. Saroori incase of similar default.
If this time Education Minister was spared out of compulsion, the case of Saroori should also be reconsidered for induction in to Ministry.
District Doda is suffering badly in developmental works as not even a single Cabinet Minister or a Minister of State has been taken from the said district.
The Chief Minister has overburdened himself with so many portfolios. Let him induct at least two MLA's /MLC from Doda District as Minister to ensure equitable Development. The Development of this backward District has suffered badly in absence of a separate cabinet minister. This is regrettable that from this district two Congress MLA,s and one MLC were available for the ministerial berth.
The names for consideration of those are M.S.Niaz, Mr.G.M.Saroore, Majid Wani and Naresh Gupta.
The first three are known for their efficiency and long standing experience as ministers and the last one Naresh Gupta is known for his legal brilliance and honesty.
Let the Congress High Command & Chief Minister induct any two of the above and shed himself of heavy burden of portfolios.
Not only had District Doda has been discriminated against but also the Jammu Division so far as the BOSE is concerned. People from the valley especially chairmen were given undue extension thus depriving the men of integrity from Jammu Division like Desh Bandu Gupta for extension as Chairman J&K BOSE. The justice to Desh Bandu can not be rectified now but at least justice to another deserving officer from Jammu Balorea secretary J&K BOSE can be done by promoting him to the post of chairman.
Let the Chief Minister give a serious thought to these two grievances of the people of District Doda & of Jammu Division respectively and redress them immediately.
The meeting was attended R.R.Manhas, Kuldeep Kumar Rao ,Om Raj Bhall, Kanwarjeet Singh Thakur, O.P. Shan, Y.R.Sharma, Rashem Singh, Vimal Manhas and others.
