| LeT area commander eliminated, OGW arrested, hideout busted | | | JAMMU JULY-31- An Area Commander of LetT outfit was eliminated in Surankot, a hide out busted in Sunderbani and a Over Ground Worker apprehended in Budhal area today.
According to D K Badbla , PRO Defence ,Army on its own information conducted search operation in Salian Surankot today and eliminated a militant in an encounter. The slain militant has been identified as Wakas , area commander of LeT outfit. The operation was in progress when the reports last came in , the spokesman added.
He said that in another operation the joint column apprehended one Bagh Hussain son of Alam Din resident of Budhal . The individual reportedly an OGW and affiliated to HMPPR tanzeem has been handed over to Police at Kotranka today.
The spokesman said that Army on a specific information busted a hide out at Naban forests 8kms North East of Sunderbani today.
