| Thief held, stolen valuables recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 14: Trikuta Nagar Police on Tuesday arrested one burglar and recovered stolen property including 8 laptops, one Maruti car and one motorcycle valuing lakhs from his possession. The accused has been identified as Ajaj Ahmed Khan of Hajipura,Kulgam, police sources said.
According to police source, the alleged thief came under scanner when police raised suspicion over him in Bathindi area, where he was presently living with his friend namely Shokat Ahmed . During questioning he broke down and admitted that he committed thefts in Jammu and also revealed that some of stolen property has been transported to Srinagar.
The further questioning of the accused is in progress by Trikuta Nagar police to reach the depth of the case. Sources said that a police team is being dispatched to Srinagar on his revelation. |
