| Timber smuggler booked under PSA | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Feb 15: Forest Protection Force official arrested a notorious timber smuggler, Mohammad Shafi Chopan in Pir Panjal Forest division on Tuesday.
The District Magistrate Budgam has ordered slapping of Public Safety Act (number DM/PSA/12-73) against the smuggler. He was sent to jail after slapping of PSA.
He was accused to felling five green trees in Tosmaidan area of the division. Police is on a look out for four of Chopan's accomplices. |
