| MLC Gupta inaugurates 100 KVA transformer at Chadwal | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 15: Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Subash Chander Gupta today inaugurated newly installed 100 KVA Transformer at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 lakh at village Chadwal in Hiranagar Tehsil.
The augmentation of the new station would help to improve power at village Chadwal.
While interacting with the locals of village Chadwal, MLC Gupta said that the need of augmentation of the station was felt in view of frequent power breakdowns being faced by the areas due to increased load and low voltage, particularly during summer season. Addressing a public gathering here this afternoon Gupta said Government was committed to ensure adequate power, Health and drinking water supply to every corner of the State. He asked the locals to use electricity judiciously and refrain from illegal hooking.
Interacting with the Sarpanch and Panches at village Chadwal, the MLC remind them of their stupendous responsibility of serving the people to their best capacity.
The people of the area demanded the construction of boundary wall, High Mast Light at Santoshi Mata Mandir at village Chadwal and shifting of PHE Pipe line and LT power supply line from the temple premises. |
