Racket selling 'duplicate filters' busted in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 15: Bahu Fort Police claimed to have busted a racket running business of duplicate Diesel Filters when it arrested 07 persons indulged in supplying these sub standard products at Narwal Jammu. The arrested have been identified as Harminder Singh R/o Rehari (Kartar Motors Works); Rakesh Kumar R/o Bakshi Nagar( Madav Traders); Satinder Paul R/o Gangyal (Kamaljeet Motors); Rakesh Kumar R/o Rehari ( R.S Motors and Suman Enterprises); Satinder Singh R/o Sarwal (Jolli Enterprises); Jagdish Kumar R/o Shakti Nagar (Shiv Ram Motors) and Vinod Kumar R/o Roop Nagar (Gagan Motors) for their involvement in the alleged sale of duplicate products of reputed companies. Following a complaint from Karnail Singh Operation Manager of C31 Consultant India Pvt. Ltd reported at P/S Bahu Fort alleging some shopkeepers in Narwal Market are selling duplicate Diesel Filters of reputed companies to customers thereby cheating them. A case against FIR No. 30/2012 U/S 420 RPC 51/63 Copy Right Act was registered at P/S Bahu Fort and investigation started. During investigation, I/C PP Narwal, ASI Aftar Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort conducted raids in Narwal area and arrested seven shopkeepers and seized 82 duplicate Diesel Filters of MICO BOSCH and LUCAS-TVS company from their shops.
