| Civil Defence basic training camp starts | | | UDHAMPUR, Feb 15: 5-day Civil Defence Basic Training Camp commenced at Government Higher Secondary School Krimchi in district Udhampur here today . The camp is being organized by the Civil Defence Orgnisation, Udhampur. As many as 200 students are being imparted training in the camp by the Nagpur Trained Master Instructors.
Deputy Controller, Civil Defence, Bodh Raj in his welcome address threw light on the civil defence activities being carried out in the district. The Civil Defence Organization has chalked out a detailed plan to start the civil defence activities by organizing five days basic civil defence training camp at the selected areas by involving NGO's, Social Organizations, NCC, NSS, NYK volunteers, sarpanches and panches besides large number of school and college students, the Deputy Controller apprised. Deputy Chief Warden, Civil Defence, Advocate Swatantar Dev Kotwal delivered lecture on Civil Defence services and conducted proceedings of the function. Chief Warden, Advocate, Surinder Khajuria, Principal and staff members of the host institution and large number of students were present on the occasion. |
