Agriculture Technocrats decry regularization policy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 7: To lodge their protest against the failure of the government for not framing their regularization policy, the Rehber-E-Zirrats under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) staged a day long protest dharna at press club here today. Agriculture Technocrats are demanding the regularization of Rehbar-e-Ziraats (ReZs) on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) and new recruitment policy that is kept for five years on the assurance held with them during the last budget session of the State Assembly. The technocrats then were assured that all the REZs having served as a Rehbar-e-Ziraat on stipend of Rs 3000 per month will be regularized and appointed JAEO in the grade of 9300-34800+4200 with in 5 years. Addressing the protesters, Dr Surinder Radotra President of Association warned State Govt. to take regularization initiative as early as possible. He said that if Govt failed to do so then it has to face revival of agitation/hunger strike before two days of assembly session. Radhotra also disclosed that since 1996 no recruitment has been done in APD and allied sector and since their appointment that too on Rehber-E-Zirrat was initiated in 2007 and till date no concrete policy has been set up for their dilapidated future. |
