| SBI, Hari Market donates water purifier to 'Arya Kanya Vidyalya' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 15: State Bank of India, Hari Market organized a programme at Arya Kanya Vidyalya , Kachi Chhawni Jammu where a water purifier was installed/donated to the school here today by the said bank.
The students of the school presented a cultural program and enthralled the audience while the main purpose of programme so organised was installation of water purifier in school premises under a scheme of SBI where in each branch of SBI in India is supposed to install a water purifier in its area. On the occasion Ashok Gupta Deputy General Manager SBI (J&K Zone) was the chief guest while other dignities present on the occasion included jay Kumar Gupta, Asstt Gen Manager Hari Market Branch and other officials of the bank and the School.
Speaking on the occasion DGM apprised about the various initiatives/activities taken by the bank under bank's Corporate Social Responsibility.
He informed that under this scheme each branch of SBI will provide water purifier to one school throughout the country to provide safe and hygienic drinking water to future citizens of country.
The vote of thanks was extended by Rakesh Chauhan on behalf of the school and management. |
