Peerzada should have forwarded his resignation to CM: JDD | | | early times report JAMMU, Feb 15 : Jammu and Kashmir Janta Dal Democratic (JDD) while criticizing Peerzada Mohammad Syed, said that the former Education Minister has violated the norms of Constitution. Addressing a party meeting at village Khour in RS Pura, the Janta Dal Democratic president Gulam Nabi Sofi, said that Peerzada should have send his resignation to the Chief Minister but he faxed it to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi. By doing this, it seems that former Education Minister is not having any knowledge of the Constitution, he added. Sofi asked that if a normal person acts against the Constitution, he is prosecuted under law while there is no word against Peerzada. Janta Dal leader asked the Chief Minister to act against Peerzada Mohd Syed for violating the norms of Constitution. Sofi said that when most of the ministers of the State are involved in corruption then how this government can provide justice to the poor people of the State. Referring corruption charges on PHE Minister Taj Moh-ud-Din, the Janta Dal leader said that to come clean from the charges levelled against him, Taj should resign from the post first because there is no hope of sincere inquiry while he being in the chair. |
