Complaint lodged against DySP Traffic, IGP orders inquiry

Jammu, Feb 15: Inspector General of Police, Traffic, Himmant Kumar Lohia directed SSP Traffic, Jammu Manmohan Singh to hold inquiry against DySP Traffic Anwar -ul-Haq following a complaint filed by one Sudesh Raina who alleged he was assaulted by the said officer.
In his complaint, copy of which in possession of Early Times, to the IGP Traffic, Sudesh Raina alleged while he was traveling with his family in a car on service lane track of National Highway at Channi Himmat some traffic cops intercepted him and asked him to go back and then come on other track.
Sudesh, who happens to be the husband of woman posted in General Administration Department (GAD), on a high chair alleged that being on right track, he refused to go the other track. Soon DySP Traffic came to the scene who started using abusive language and assaulted him.
SSP Traffic when contacted said that he had summoned the DySP Traffic as a part of inquiry to reach the depth of the incident and at present it is immature to comment in this regard.
