VOJ books revenue officials & Ors for making illegal entries | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb 16: Vigilance Organization Jammu (VOJ) today registered FIR against three revenue officials and one beneficiary for fraudulently/ dishonestly making illegal entries and then attesting the mutation of land in order to bestow undue benefit to the Anchal Singh the beneficiary. A FIR stands registered against Ujjal Singh then Tehsildar Settlement (now retired) Arju Ram then Girdawar Rajpura, then Patwari Kuldeep Kumar (now Naib-Tehsildar Sarna and beneficiary Anchal Singh s/o Jai Singh u/s 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) J&K PC Act 2006 BK and sections 419/467/468/ 471 & 120-B RPC for fraudulently/ dishonestly made illegal entries and attested the mutation of land in order to bestow undue benefit to the Anchal Singh. According to the VOJ case that one complaint lodged by Suraj Parkash adopted son of Dina Nath alleging illegal entrires/ fraudulent attestation of mutation in favour of one Anchal Singh with regard to land falling under Khasra Nos 131/132/ 133/163 and 1962 situated at Village Raipura Hira Nagar presently Samba and Khasra No 353 situated at Village Kalwal Samba by the concerned revenue officers/officials in conspiracy with Anchal Singh. It has been further revealed that the land falling under Khasra 131/132/1333 measuring 27 Kanals 17 marlas situated at Village Raipura was allotted to Dina Natha as Displaced person of 1947 vide cabinet order No 570/c of 1954 and the same was being cultivated by Dina Nath. According to the FIR No 2/2012 it has been also been found that on June 9, 2001 then Tehsildar Ujjal Singh in order to give undue benefit to the beneficiary, attested the mutation of land in the name of Anchal Singh by dishonestly attesting it showing it to have been made with the consent of Dina Nath. After completion of preliminary enquiry VOJ today registered FIR. (JNF) |
