| Narcotic smuggler denied of bail | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 16: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu today dismissed bail application of Manzoor Ahmed Beigh r/o Nawakadal Srinagar with the observations that the narcotic smuggling is required to be prevented with heavy hands, so to remove the scourge of social evil spreading and engulfing the youth in society.
Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Jang Bhadur Singh Jamwal today dismissed bail application of Manzoor Ahmed Beigh r/o Nawak-adal Srinagar with the observations that as per the latest survey of the world, about 190 milion people all over the world consume one narcotics and give rise to illegal production of narcotics substances.
"The narcotic abuse has led detrimental impact upon the society which has increased the crime rate and is causing physical moral and intellectual loss to the youths of the country, the court observed and added, "thus spreading of narcotic smuggling is required to be prevented with heavy hands.
Observing that the accused along with another accused is facing trial in 30.150 KG Charas which falls under commercial quantity, the Court rejected the bail application. JNF |
