| JKSC employees hold dharna, seek fulfillment of demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 17: Employees and Workers of J&K Sports Council (JKSC) under the banner of J&K State Sports Council Employees Union organized a massive dharna/demonstration outside the office of J&K Sports Council MA Stadium here today.
The protest was held to attract the attention of Government and higher authorities of the Department on the burning demands/problems of the Employees and Workers of J&K Sports Council.
Employees and Workers from all the centres of Jammu participated in the dharna and raised slogans in favour of their demands.While addressing the protesting employees, Moha-mmed Gafoor Dar State President of J&K National Trade Union Front & Employees Joint Action Committee stressed upon the Government and higher authorities of the Department to mitigate the problems / sufferings of the Sports Council Employees Workers who have already represented their genuine demands to the authorities in writing on several occasions.
Dar further said that authorities have failed to fulfil the genuine demands till date thus forcing the employees and workers to adopt the agitiational path.
Dar appealed to the Minister Incharge J&K Sports Council to intervene personally to resolve the genuine demands of the employees. |
