| Railway Deptt to install electronic boards en route Vaishno Devi | | | early times report
Jammu, Feb: In a bid to keep pilgrims updated of railway timings, the Railway department has decided to install electronic boards en route the cave shrine. ''For the convenience of pilgrims coming to Katra from across the country, electronic-cum-digital boards will be placed at different locations on the track,'' sources said here this morning. ''It is an initiative to keep the visitors updated of trains schedule, timings, cancellations and registration process so that they do not suffer and smoothly hold their pilgrimage,'' they added. The first board would be installed at Ban Ganga and the tenders have already been invited for it, the sources informed. |
