| PSA stages 'nukkad natak' against new recruitment policy | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Progressive Students' Association (PSA) staged a 'Nukkad Natak' near the Dhanvantri Central Library on Jammu University campus.
More that 350 students gathered to watch the show which was based on the theme "New Recruitment Policy".
The University committee of PSA presented 2 songs, 1 natak and 2 speechs.
The 'nukkad natak' whose name was "Nayi Neeti- Naya Dhokha" was staged showing the overall depiction of the beginning, ups and downs in the recent upsurge against the new recruitment policy.
Speaking on the occasion, PSA's University Committee President Manik said that the Government has witnessed a huge resistance from the student community when the policy was introduced.
But because of the exams in the university campus, they have put this issue to the back foot.
But this doesn't mean that we are sitting idle.
We are waiting for the response of the high court, where the issue is waiting for the final hearing." |
