Lecture under Leadership Connect Series organised at TBS | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: The Business School (TBS), University of Jammu today organized a Lecture by Nirmal K Bhardwaj, CEO, Resurgent Business Pvt. Ltd on the topic "Emerging Challenges for Management Professionals". Bhardwaj is an alumnus of IIM Ahmadabad and IIT Kharagpur, and, is a son of the soil. He emphasized that the curiosity to learn is an important prerequisite for the young students and the corporates are looking towards the skill sets of the students. In fact, the companies are focusing on how students can add value to their organisational capabilities. Speaking on the occasion, Bhardwaj was of the view that 55-75% of the value of a company is coming from the Human Capital. He further emphasized that it does not matter how much one scores or where one studies; what matters is the passion a person has! He emphasized that education is a process of co- learning, it is a collaborative approach. Nirmal said that one can learn from the society, people, books and new media. These can act as additional grounds for learning and up gradation of Knowledge. He stressed that self learning, self sustainability, self reliance are key to success. Speaking on the relevance of self-motivation, ethics and moral values in present competitive world, Bhardwaj urged upon the students to retain their basic values of honesty, dedication, hard work and integrity. |
