No big name figured in corrupt list: SRS | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 17: Shri Ram Sena Jammu-Kashmir while hailing the decision of state government of forcibly retiring 13 civil servants on corrupt charges, said that no civil servant with big name figures in the list. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Shri Ram Sena state president Rajiv Mahajan said that though the beginning is a welcome step but this may not stop after this one- time show. He said by punishing only 13 officials, the corruption does not ends in the state because almost every civil servant from top to bottom is a corrupt person, some of them having political patronage. It is also worth mentioning here that every time graft cases are framed against low or middle class civil servants, but those high rung civil servants having crossed all records of corruption, favouritism and nepotism are enjoying their lot without any fear being the upright and scrupulous honest officers of government. Mahajan said in most of the cases low rung government official is made scape-goat at behest of high rung official. Mahajan want to see the action taken from upper side to lower side and not from lower side to contain corruption in real sense. Other leaders present in the meeting were Ajay Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Bal Krishan Arora, Parul Gupta, Raghvir Krishan Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Pawan Choudhary, Anil Chopra and others. |
