| Shah greets KPs on Shivratri | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 18 : Senior separatist leader and President Democratic Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Saturday greeted Kashmiri Pundits on the eve of Maha Shivratri. "Pundits have been a part of our civilization and they are as important to us as the Muslims," Shah said in a statement to KNS. He said that the Shivratri has reminded him the old days when the Muslims used to share the joy on the day with their Pundit brethren. "We are fighting for the independence but the movement does not belong to Muslims only. Like Muslims, Pundits and Sikhs in the state have right to decide about their future," Shah asserted. |
