| NPSU protest against shifting of school students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today held a strong protest demonstration at Shaheedi Sthal, Jammu.
The protest was against the issue of shifting of KV school Lale-da_Bagh Sangrampur students to other schools. The activists of NPSU gathered and raised slogans against concerned authorities and burnt the effigy of concerned authorities.
Addressing the media persons Partap Singh Jamwal (provincial president NPSU) said that this shifting policy will definitely effect the future of students and also endangered their recent academic session. There are lot of local students studying in particular schools which will suffer as a result of this act.
It also leads to great wastage of time of students and also the students have to cover much more distance to reach their destination. Jamwal further said that now at the time of exams when students have stressed for their exams then these kind of action will definitely affect the preparation of students.
Jamwal demands to the concerned authorities that they should not play with the sentiments of the people and the future of students and cancellation the plan of shifting the said school.
