Farewell accorded to outgoing students | | | early times report Jammu, Feb 18: Students of BSc - III and BA - III of Himalayan Degree College (HDC) Rajouri were today accorded farewell party in the college campus. During the farewell party programme, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri Zahoor Ahmed Shawl, Addl.SP Rajouri Mohd Shabir Chowdhary, principal Govt PG College Rajouri Mushtaq Lone and Dy. Registrar Co-operative societies Rajouri CP Sharma were present as chief guest while many other prominent citizens including retd ADC Talib Malik, and various others also attended the programme while founder patron of Himalayan Education society Farooq Muztar, general secretary of society Salim Wani and managing director of society Muslim Wani presided over the function. In the inagural function, devotional and encouraging songs were presented while students presented debates regarding the importance of moral education. In the middle part of the farewell party chief guests presented moral speech to the outgoing students of BSc and BA Part III and emphasised upon development of educational status in the area. They also appreciated the hardwork of management of HEM society and said that with their dedication it has now became as a state level and national level educational branch. In the ending part of the farewell party, meritorious students of outgoing batch of BSc-III and BA-III were honoured and were given certificates and trophies. Along with students Rajouri correspondent of Early Times, Sumit Bhargav who is also associated with Himalayan Education Mission Society was honoured for being a prime journalist of area. Later vote of thanks was presented by managing director of Himalayan Education Society Muslim Wani. |
