Burglars had a 'filed day' in Kishtwar | | | early times report Kishtwar, Feb 18:-In less than 24 hours, burglars struck at four places in two different localities in Kishtwar and decamped with Gold and silver ornaments worth more than 5 lakh besides cash and other valuables. As per reports the thieves first broke into the house of one Bodh Raj Sharma Retd Treasury Officer at Shakti nagar Kishtwar and left with valuables searching almost all the lockers and trunks. Thereafter they entered in the rented accommodation of one Ashok Kumar Gupta , businessman and decamped with costly items including 12 Tola gold, 35 Silver coins, 14000 cash. Reports said the burglars then broke into nearby house and decamped alongwith with 7-8 Tola gold, silver ornaments, blankets and other house hold item. The wife of Ashok Kumar said she left the house to purchase vegetables at nearby market and after returning home, she found all mess inside the house and the locker broken with gold and other precious item missing. In another incident the thieves struck in the house of a policeman namely Daleep Kumar situated at Wassar Kishtwar and took away valuables. Police has registered the cases and started its investigations. Meanwhile P/S Kishtwar has recovered stolen items from the a house at Bun Kuleed Kishtwar, but yet the detail of recovered items has not been made public by the police. |
