Finally it's official expelled Ex-BJP MLA's to extend support to JKDF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb 19: In a major show of strength, the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) organized its workers conference of Jammu city, the seven Ex-BJP MLA's today shared the dais who supported the vision and ideology of JKDF. Speaking on the occasion Chairman JKDF Anil Gupta said that the reason for the formation of the front is to fight against the indiscrimination and injustice being done to some parts of the state. He said the only purpose of JKDF is to work for equal development of all parts of the state. "The people of Jammu feel cheated by these parties which have always been unable to raise even their justified demands at the state and national level, he said. JKDF is formed to fight against the double standard of national parties on the one hand and discriminating policies of the state parties on the other. Anil Gupta added that upcoming municipal elections have given a golden opportunity to the people of Jammu to fight against this indiscrimination and double standards of those who have cheated the people for long. It is time that the people of Jammu stand with one voice and one force. "These elections can serve as an eye opener for some powerful leaders sitting in Delhi who are used to taking Jammu and Jammiutes for granted, he added. He said, "JKDF will contest from all wards of Jammu city and give a chance to the young candidates who possess a clean image and passion for serving people." A large number of dignitaries from various streams of social life, including AV Gupta (Ex. President, Bar Association Jammu), Purshottam Sharma (Ex. ), Munish Gupta, Y.R. Malhotra, Sheikh Shakeel, Sardar Rattan Singh Gill (Senior reporter), Desraj (President Kabir Welfare society), Narayan Singh Jamwal, Ashok Gupta (senior educationist), Rajeev Luthra (Director, Luthra Education Group), Sardar K.C.Mehta (Principal APS) and Amarchand (Administrator, Vivekanand Medical Mission) also shared their views and supported the idea and vision of the JKDF and the need for a regional party for the equitable growth and development of all regions of the state. |
