| Wild Life team rescues Leopard from Baguna | | | Jammu | Jan 19
A team of wild life department today rescued a leopard, which was caught in a trap laid by some villagers last night, from village Baguna in Vijaypur and took him with them to a safe place.
According to reports, this morning a villager spotted a leopard caught into the trap laid down by some of his fellow villagers. He immediately informed about the matter to village Sarpanch, Yogeshwar Singh, who called upon the officials of Wild Life department. Later, a wild life team arrived there and rescued the leopard from the trap and taken him along with them to a safe place. It is reported that leopard crossed over from the surrounding mountainous range and entered into the village last night in search of prey and get caught in the trap. Meanwhile, panic gripped the entire area as the news in this regard spread into the area.
