| Former cop's son appointed under SRO | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 20: Inspector General of Police, IGP Jammu Dilbag Singh handed over an appointment order to the family members of Lt ASI Shankar Singh, who died while performing duty here today. The appointment order under SRO 43 of the son of said ASI namely Pardeep Singh was handed over when IGP Jammu Zone Jammu accompanied by Sh. Prabhat Singh, SSP Jammu and Shailender Singh, SP Hqrs. Jammu besides SDPO R.S.Pura and SHO P/S R.S.Pura visited village Karyal Manhasan (Bishnah) in connection with tenth day of Lt. ASI.
Later speaking to media persons IGP said that police department has launched various schemes under the leadership of Kuldeep Khoda, DGP J&K, Jammu pertaining to the welfare of the Police personnel and their families. |
