| PHE employees to stage 3 day long protest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 20: PHE Workers Welfare Association has decided to stage three days consecutive Dharna's from 27-29 in the office premises of all the Executive Engineers in Jammu region. As per press statement from the spokesperson of association hundreds of PHE employees will be participating in their concerned divisions to impress upon the state government as well as the PHE administrative Department to concede their pending genuine demands. "It may be recalled that the PHE workers have not been paid their monthly wages for the last several months, all the registered adhoc workers be given regular wages before 5th of every month at the rate Rs 125/- per day, all the workers be regularized in five years at the pattern of Rehbar-e-Taleem pattern and 4th class transferred employees be brought back to their respective previous sub-divisions etc, the statement said. The association has further appealed to all the PHE workers of Jammu region to participate in the proposed Dharna in maximum strength from Feb 27. |
