JAMMU, Feb 20: NPP Chief declares social boycott against Congress Legislators if they don't withdraw support to Omar Abdullah Addressing media persons in Srinagar
Panthers Party Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh declared that a massive social boycott against Congress Legislators in J&K shall be launched in case the Congress didn't withdraw support to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah within 30 days.
The NPP Chief while reconstituting the Young Panthers, appointed Mujeeb Siddique as the Vice President of the State Young Panthers Committee who joined the Panthers Party in a massive youth rally held yesterday at the Panthers Party Headquarters, Rajbagh, Srinagar.
More than 1500 youth led by Mujeeb Siddique joined the Panthers Party pledging to fight against corruption, all forms of discrimination and for the dissolution of corrupt, tainted and unconstitutional NC-Congress government in J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh accused the Congress Party for playing triple standards in J&K, supporting Abdullah's dynasty rule who are responsible for the rise of militancy and terrorism in J&K.
Prof. Bhim Singh told press media that thousands of cores of rupees are being swallowed by the ministers and when the people stand in the streets to demand their rights they are shot and killed like pigeons.
He said that the people of Kashmir are neither against India nor against the Indian Army they are against the lop sided policy of the Govt. of India which has always favoured corrupt Abdullah's government and standing like crutches to the Chief Minister. Prof. Bhim Singh urged N.N. Vohra, the Governor of J&K who is the custodian of State Constitution to intervene u/s. 92 of the J&K Constitution, dissolve Omar Abdullah government which has infringed the Constitution by appointing 30-members in the Council of his Ministers under the State Constitution there cannot be more than 22 ministers.
Besides, the Panthers Party Chief urged Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to direct the Congress to withdraw support to the Chief Minister in the interest of country, security and the interest of the people of J&K. He said that Congress leaders in J&K have been reduced to pawns on the chess board in J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh demanded immediate release of all those detained under PSA and General Amnesty to all those youth in particular, who have been jailed for the pleasure of the ruling Abdullahs.
Prof. Bhim Singh cautioned those demanding Azadi, Autonomy or Self-Rule by warning them that the people of J&K would prefer Pre-1947 status and Pre-1953. He said a survey conducted by the study circle headed by Syed Indrabi has in his report submitted to the NPP Chief concluded that National Conference and Congress coalition government has a support of less than 5% people in the Valley.
Prof. Bhim Singh reiterated that Panthers Party will take up the Panthers Agenda of Reorganization of the State in the Assembly. He declared that the Panthers Party shall gherao the Assembly on the opening Budget Session on 23rd February, 2012.
