Srinagar, Feb 20: The Chairperson J&K State Women's Commission and MLA Habba Kadal, Shamim Firdous greeted the Pandit community on the occasion of Shivratri "Hairath". She wished them happiness and wellbeing.
Shamim Firdous said that Jammu and Kashmir has rich tradition of celebrating festivals in amity and brotherhood. She said Shivratri observed by Kashmir pundits as "Hairath" has been traditional event of Hindu and Muslim brotherhood and harmony. She expressed the hope that the love bonds between various sections of the society would get further strengthened. |
