| One killed two injured in Furnace blast | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 20: One labourer reportedly was killed and two others suffered critical burn injuries in the explosion at a furnace while they were melting scrap here at a Steel Industry in Bari Brahmana of Samba district.
Sources said that three labourers used while working at a furnace at the Narvada Steel Industry were injured when an explosion took place.
The explosion left one labourer dead on spot while two others injured critically.
The deceased was identified as Sanjay Kumar (32) son of Baj Nath of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh at present Narvada Factory.
The injured were rushed them to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu from where they were referred to a hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab for advanced treatment.
Police have identified injured as Surinder Kumar son of Ram Singh of Himachal Pradesh and Lalit son of Bhole Nath of Banaras.
Police have registered case at the concerned police station. |
