| 8th J&K State Wushu Championship from Feb 22 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: Organised by Wushu Association of Jammu and Kashmir, 8th J&K State Wushu Championship shall be held from February 22 to February 24 at Indoor Hall Multipurpose Complex MA Stadium Jammu. According to the press note issued here by Kuldeep Handoo, general secretary Wushu Association of J&K, participants from 18 Districts are expected to take part in this championship. Leh and Kargil Association won't participate in this championship due to closure of the National Highway. It is pertinent to mention here that Wushu Association of J&K organised National Coaching camp at Gulmarg in collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the auspices of Wushu Association of India and in association with J&K State Sports council. The 57th National School Games (Wushu) were also held at Jammu recently, wherein J&K State team remained second in the medal tally.
