| Huge cache of arms, ammo seized in Anantnag | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 21 : Security forces today busted a militant hideout in south Kashmir's Anantnag district and recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition.
The recovery was made in a joint operation by security forces following a tip-off in the district, said a police spokesman.
Besides a sniper rifle and two Chinese grenades, the security forces seized a Rocket Projectile Gun (RPG), three tail units of RPG, ten Under Barrel Grenade Launchers, a magnetic compass and two wireless sets with antennae.
According to the spokesman, one Improvised Explosive Device, a damaged remote control, three AK magazines, 102 rounds of AK ammunition and two detonators were also recovered. |
