| NPSU protests closure of KV School Lale da Bagh | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 21: Continue their protest against the closing of KV School Lale da Bagh Sangrampur, the National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a strong protest demonstration at Canal Road opposite SPMR College of Comm-erce, Jammu. The activists of NPSU gathered and raised slogans against concerned authorities and burnt the effigy of concerned authorities. Addressing the media persons, Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial Presid-ent NPSU) said that KV school was established in 1987. The rural areas and backward students get benefited by this school because the children can have good education with nominal fees. This school closing policy will definitely affect the future of students and also endangered their recent academic session, he said.
Jamwal further said that now at the time of examination when students are busy preparing for their exams then this kind of action will definitely affect the preparation of students.
Jamwal demands to the concerned authorities that they should not play with the sentiments of the people and the future of students and shelve the plan of closing the said school. |
