SKF discusses problems of KP migrants | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 21: A meeting of Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held today under the Chairmanship of CL Pandita to discuss the problems of KP migrants. The meeting hailed the initiative of the Vigilance Organisation in dealing with the corruption going on in the Relief Organisation. This is a healthy step and hope the facts will surface and open the eyes of all those who had been crying for an investigation. The meeting further said that there are many more cases of scams and corruption in the Relief Organisation and in particular great bungling have been done in the construction works of Jagti Tenements and in the purchases of items for the same. The meeting appealed to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to reshuffle this organization as the employees working there have 10-20 years of long stay there. Further it was stated that the Kashmiri Pandit migrants are ready to return and get rehabilitated in the valley but demanded that lump sump compensation of Rs 50 lakh per family be granted and rehabilitator, made at a secure place. The meeting also demanded lump sump compensation for over aged Kashmiri Pandit. |
