| 2-day Karate-Do seminar held | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 22: A two day Karate- Do seminar was held by International Karate- Do Goju Ryu Federation of Renmai, India and in collaboration with All J&K Shitu Ryu Siko Kai Karate- Do Association. This Seminar was organized by International Karate-Do Goju Ryu Federation of Renmai, India. During the Seminar, Kata & Kumite Training was imparted to the Karatekas alongwith basic training & Chishi Training of the Karate to the Karatekas.In the Seminar, Jai Pal Singh - Sandan Goju Ryu. Sensei Sanjeev Dewan, Yon Dan (Black Belt) interacted with the Karatekas and imparted the knowledge of Karates to the aspiring Karatekas, besides showing them importance of Karate alongwith the advantage of seeking Belt and Training in this field.The instructors in the Seminar, impressed upon the Karatekas to go for the beast Karate Training and not for the Belts only. It is was also stated in the Seminar that standard of Karate has gone down whereas the Karatekas are just following the non-standard forms of Karate. Even the so called instructoras are bent upon to mint money by taking classes only and they do not believe in prodiving good quality of Karate to the Karatekas.The Seminar was attended by : Sensei Sanjeev Dewan, 4th Degree Black Belt, Jai Pal Singh (ITBP) San Dan, Rajinder Kumar (ITBP)-Ni Dan, Maqsood Hussain (2ndDegree Black Belt), Balwant Singh, Sho-Dan, Black Belt and Shri Gulzar Ahmed, Zakir Ahmed, Mujtaba as Instructors. Whereas Wazir Hemalini Singh, MD, Wazir Janki Nath Memorial High School, Gramesh Gill (JKP), were also present in the Seminar.The Seminar was held on the directions of OON LIYE TAN, International Chief Instructor of the Organisation. |
