| Safai Karamcharis hold rally in support of their demands | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 23: In support of his long pending demands, Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Committee Kishtwar held rally in Kishtwar district raising slogans in favour of their demands. The rally starts from Municipal Committee Office Kishtwar and passed through various Bazaars of Kishtwar District before it cumulated at MC Office Kishtwar where the agitating employees were addressed by various union leaders including the leaders of Kishtwar Employees Welfare front who come in an open support of the agitating Safai Karamcharis. They demanded the agitating employees to regularize all the daily wagers working since last 18 years, enhancement of pay at par with other state employees and two and a half day extra pay. This is the 2nd protest of Safai Karamcharis in less than a week's time. |
