JAMMU, Feb 23: Jammu district continued to dominate on the second day of the three day 8th State Wushu Championship, organised by J&K Wushu Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
On the second day, Inspector General of Police Headquarters, Sheikh Owais was special guest, who interacted with young participants from different districts. As usual, incharge Secretary Sports Council was also present.
Meanwhile, according to the organizers, the valedictory function of the three-day meet, wherein Minister for Sports, R S Chib has consented to be chief guest, shall take place tomorrow at 5.30 pm.

BOYS: Under 14 yrs: 28 kg: Saleem, Budgam, Ist; Vishal Singh, Jammu, 2nd; Naresh, Samba and Ishan, Jammu, joint 3rd. Below 36 kg: Aryan, Jammu, Ist; Numaan, Jammu, 2nd; Zahid, Budgam and Diksha, Jammu, joint 3rd. Under 10 yrs: 24 kg: Aprajit, Jammu, Ist; Varun, Samba, 2nd; Sanjeev, Jammu and Lalit, Jammu, joint 3rd.
