Early Times Report POONCH, Feb 23 : The Cross-LoC businessmen traded goods worth over Rs 2.08 crore at the Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district today, officials said. As many as 24 trucks rolled out from the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) today, they said, adding that these trucks carried bags of chilli, banana, onion, herbs, petha and coriander worth Rs 50,47,400. From PoK, 12 trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, keenu, herbs and embroidery items crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 1,58,29,796. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1300 hrs to 1330 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs, they said. |
