| Lawrence Public School bids adieu to class 12 students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: Lawrence Public School organised a farewell party for its outgoing class 12th students in the school premises here today.
The programme started with students paying floral tributes to Maa Saraswati followed by a very interesting musical theme in which the class 11th students sang songs and the class 12th students had to guess on whom the song was being characterised on.
The students were later called upon one by one to do the cat walk followed by picking up a slip to perform on the spot act.
A few students also performed the stand up act and made the audience laugh their hearts out. The Mr Lawrence title was presented to Satyam Gandotra and Ms Lawrence title was presented to Sundas Gazal by the Principal, Shakuntla Joshi. Meghna Sharma was adjudged as the most promising girl, Richa Abrol was adjudged as the All round best girl, Kajal Sharma was adjudged as the Go Getter, Mrinali Tickoo was adjudged as Miss hardworking, Azhar was adjudged as the most promising boy, Shagun Jamwal was adjudged as Miss beautiful, Amir was adjudged as the best dancer. The students were presented best of luck cards along with mementos.
Shakuntla Joshi in her best of luck message blessed the children and told to do well as they did in their class 10th board exams by securing 5 positions.
She told them that this is the deciding year for their future and they should confidently appear in the exams without any stress and tension. She advised them to put in their best efforts & leave the rest to God. |
