| Horticulture Dept organized training programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: Horticulture department district samba today organized one day training programme for fruit growers at Govt. Fruit Plant Nursery, Vijaypur.
N.L. Sharma, Chief horticulture Samba was the chief guest for the programme, where more than 70 farmers from different blocks of the district participated.
During the training programme , Perminder Singh, Horticulture development officer Vijaypur nursery, gave demonstration about the latest technologies of propagating fruit plants like mango , guava, citrus, litchi, etc and the scope of such techniques for generating self employment. He also gave special emphasis on Aloe Vera Plantation in Kandi areas. Among other horticulture development officers, Dr. Anju Bala, Satish Kumar, Subhash Chander, etc were also present on the occasion |
